Biography

Simin Vakily, MD, completed her initial medical studies at Azad University’s Tehran Medical School in Iran. She managed an emergency department and primary care clinic in Iran before continuing her medical education at UAB School of Medicine in Huntsville, Alabama. Dr. Vakily then completed her internship at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. Her residency was completed at Ghent Family Medicine for Eastern Virginia Medical School.

Dr. Vakily is board certified in family medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and American Medical Associates. She is fluent in English and Persian.
