Paul Williamson is starting and training horses at the Bloodhorse Training Centre (BTC) in Hokkaido, Japan (see panorama presentation of the training centre above). The BTC is probably the world's biggest of it's kind featuring 6 indoor tracks and many more outdoor tracks. Built in 1993, the centre covers more than 20 square kilometers surrounded by huge stable areas accomodating up to 2,000 horses in training. The centre caters to all the needs trainers will find in prepping young and older racehorses for life on the track. Use the map above to investigate the BTC.

In 2009 and 2010, Paul was based as an assistant trainer at the Kranji Racecourse in Singapore. The pictures below are from that period.
