Paul Williamson is based as a senior track rider and assistant trainer to Hong Kong racing legend David Hill now training in Singapore. Singapore Kranji is a relatively new course established in the year 2000. The work enviroment here is very international with trainers and track riders from all over the world.
For 16 years, Paul was starting and training horses at the Bloodhorse Training Centre (BTC) in Hokkaido, Japan (see panorama presentation of the training centre above). The BTC is probably the world's biggest of it's kind featuring 6 indoor tracks and many more outdoor tracks. Built in 1993, the centre covers more than 20 square kilometers that are surrounded by huge stable areas accomodating up to 2,000 horses in training. The centre caters to all the needs trainers will find in prepping young and older racehorses for life on the track.
